JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) – The Saudi film “A Matter of Life and Death” premiered on the red carpet at Jeddah’s Red Sea International Film Festival, drawing attention to its cast, including lead actress Sarah Taibah and British actor Nicholas Hoult.
Directed by Anas Ba-Tahaf, the Red Sea Film Fund-backed movie is described as a quirky romantic dark comedy set in Jeddah, exploring the intertwined fates of a superstitious woman and a reserved heart surgeon.
The story highlights generational curses, hidden desires, and the transformative power of love, marking a fresh narrative direction in Saudi cinema.
