Millions join third wave of ‘No Kings’ anti-Trump protests across all 50 states

NEW YORK, United States (MNTV) – Millions of Americans took to the streets Saturday in the third nationwide “No Kings” protest, with demonstrations held across all 50 states and 16 countries in what organizers described as one of the largest coordinated protest movements in U.S. history.

Organizers including anti-authoritarian groups Indivisible and 50501, labor unions and grassroots organizations reported more than 3,000 events nationwide. The previous No Kings protest in October drew an estimated seven million participants, according to local news outlets. Thousands gathered at the flagship event outside the Minnesota State Capitol, which Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin described as “the largest protest in Minnesota history.” In Washington, DC, a group of Palestinian mothers protested at the Lincoln Memorial, waving a large Palestinian flag.

Demonstrators cited a range of grievances, including the Iran war, which has killed 13 U.S. service members, rising fuel and grocery prices, costly tariffs and long airport security lines caused by government gridlock. “Most Americans don’t know that our tax dollars are being used to subsidize violence,” said Hazami Barmada, 42. “Prices continue to go up as we are fighting Israel’s wars.”

Counter-protesters appeared at some events. In West Palm Beach, Florida, around 50 pro-Trump demonstrators wearing Proud Boys insignia confronted participants.

Organizers emphasized the nonviolent nature of the protests, banning weapons and training leaders in de-escalation — a precaution following an incident during the first No Kings Day in June, when a Salt Lake City protester was killed by a 50501 volunteer after a firearm was spotted despite its legality under Utah law.
